Healthy Living & Personal Wellness
We believe that conservation and preservation is very personal. "Green Living" isn't just about buying organic food, recycling, or putting a solar panel on your roof-it is about leading a responsible, healthy, active life. We believe that before one can truly respect the health of the planet, they must first respect their own. As such, we encourage our employees and clients to lead more personally responsible, healthier lifestyles. The nucleus of the GO initiative is our dedication to providing resources to help them do this.
Getting Active, Getting Involved
Once a month, we offer our employees an afternoon or morning off, a sort of corporately sanctioned hooky, to get out and GO do something active or participate in a community event. They can go to the gym or on a hike or bike ride, get an early start on a weekend excursion, recycle, volunteer... pretty much anything that benefits their personal health and/or the health of our environment or community. This paid time off, meant to encourage our employees to lead more active, involved lives, is in addition to their allotted flex time.Personal Responsibility Many of the green policies we have in place corporately can also be done in our homes. We encourage our employees to practice these same policies with their families and in their homes. Employees without access to local recycling programs are encouraged to bring their recyclables to our office for processing.

We understand that and are committed to being carbon neutral by implementing reduction internally and purchasing carbon offsets from CarbonFund.org, a leading, not-for-profit provider of such offsets.
Corporate Recycling
Responsible Disposal
Our offices participate in all recycling programs for which local facilities exist. We also dispose of any environmentally unfriendly substances appropriately. This includes the proper disposal or recycling of printer cartridges, electronic & computer equipment, and florescent and compact florescent light bulbs.Other Policies

As part of our green initiative, we have elected to give to like minded organizations. Each year, we choose two organizations who we feel have the same goals we do in both protecting our environment and enriching our community.
Environment
One organization is chosen which has similar environmental goals.2008 Environmental Beneficiary
Sonoran Institute
"The Sonoran Institute promotes community decisions that respect the land and people of western North America. Our passion is to shape a North American West with healthy landscapes vibrant with human and wildlife populations living in harmony with the environment. It is a land in which robust local and regional economies are new models of collaborative efforts, which will guarantee a future of clean energy and water, fresh air, and a dedication to the positive interdependence of people and nature."
Arts & Humanities
The second organization is chosen from the arts & humanities sector. We feel that enriching the lives of the people on our planet is just as important as protecting the environment in which they live.2008 Arts & Humanities Beneficiary
Phoenix Symphony
"Founded in 1947, The Phoenix Symphony proudly serves the citizens of the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, central Arizona and the southwestern United States. What began as an occasional group of musicians performing a handful of concerts each year today serves more than 300,000 people annually, with 275 concerts and presentations throughout the Valley of the Sun and beyond. The Phoenix Symphony offers a wide variety of programming each year - including regular series as well as special community presentations celebrating various holidays and area events. Each season, the Symphony performs for more than 50,000 students and children, helping to introduce music to new generations through a variety of education, community, and youth-engagement programs."
